"An iPhone 4 prototype is already stuff of legend when one was acquired by Gizmodo and then taken apart for the world to see well before Apple's press event. Recently another one appeared on eBay, which quickly gathered enough attention for the bidding to quickly hit the six-figure range."

Blood spattered PCs
US IT outfits might be required to confirm that they do not source the tantalum used in capacitors from the Congo. A lot of Tantalum is mined from Australia, and most IT companies say their suppliers assure them that they get it from there. Their suppliers apparently tell them that they do not buy the stuff from a dodgy Congo warlord from the back of a blood splattered truck.
Earlier we reported on the widely experienced phenomenon of the iPhone 4 dropping 3G signal when gripped in the left hand. The problem is caused when the skin bridges the left and bottom antennas that also happen to be the device's stainless steel outer bezel. We asked Apple if it was aware of the issue, and on a lark copied CEO Steve Jobs since the flaw contradicted his statements about the "brilliant" antenna design during WWDC.
