Intel's second unlocked “K” CPU is i5 655K

Core i5 655K at 3.2GHz

Intel is preparing yet another, much cheaper CPU to address the Mainstream 2 market and this new unlocked CPU should show its face by early June 2010. The name of this part is Core i5 655K and this is a dual-core with four treads clocked at 3.2GHz and based on a 32nm CPU core and 45nm graphics core that are also integrated on the chip.

San Jose, California - October 15, 2009 - Super Talent Technology, a leading manufacturer of Flash storage solutions and DRAM memory modules, today announced a line of 4GB dual channel DDR3 kits for Intel® P55 based CoreTM i5 and Core i7 systems in speeds ranging from DDR3-1600 to DDR3-2200.
