360 & PS3 Battlefield 3 only support half PC frame rate

"DICE has confirmed that the console versions of Battlefield 3 will only support a frame rate of 30fps. That is right: both the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 will both only run at 30 frames per second, while the PC version will run at 60fps. The 30fps will be delivered on both the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 at a resolution of 720p. The PC version, however, will run at full 1080p. Actually, a number of the most popular titles run at 720p, so the decision isn’t that surprising."

DICE makes PC owners unhappy

"Cancels Battlefield 1943 & BFBC2 Onslaught add-on After a lot of waiting and promises from DICE, the studio officially announced that they were officially cancelling the PC versions of Battlefield 1943, and the PC version of the Onslaught add-on for Battlefield Bad Company 2. Both had been said to be in development for PC Battlefield fans.

DICE: PC Gamers Deserve Extra Goodies

DICE is paying homage to PC gamers with extra goodies in Bad Company 2. Sometimes PC gamers don't feel loved, especially when once-dedicated-PC-developers give all the attention and glory to consoles (you know who you are). But PC gamers are loved, it's just not vocalized on a daily level. That's why it's always music to our ears when a developer steps out and sticks up for the PC gamer.
