For the money, the Lenovo TAB 2 A10 is one of the best all around tablets on the market today. It's pack some impressive features, like a high resolution IPS display, a quick quad-core processor, a long life battery and a micro SD slot. As well, it's slim, looks great and the build quality is great. If you can get this on special, definitely grab it!

"It seems that if a virus writer is going to bother writing a hack for a mobile, they are only going to do it for Andriod. A new report from security outfit F-Secure said that virus writers are ignoring the chance to download a complete Coldplay collection from Apple phones and are instead writing code for Android... More than 99 per cent of viruses are being written for Android with only two new ones written for the iPhone or Symbian this year. To be fair, we are not taking about a big threat to mobiles. F-Secure detected just 277 new threat families, of which 275 honed in on Android.

"Google Play Market bans popular Reddit Android app over spurious adult content violations.

Within the past 24 hours Google Play removed and banned indie developer Andrew Shu’s Reddit Is Fun app from its market.

Google Play’s brief email told Shu the app - a fan-created link client - is a “Violation of the sexually explicit material provision of the Content Policy.”

Profile Scheduler App is KICKASS

I personally use this Profile Scheduler on my Galaxy Nexus Smartphone and it's an App just about everyone can find a use for. I use it mostly for silencing my phone when I go to sleep, but it has a ton of other features. My wife also uses it to put her phone into meeting mode when at work, using a local LAN to do so.

"A Finnish analyst has got together some facts and figures which he thinks proves that Android will kill off PCs. Horace Dediu said that iOS and Android devices are considered to be substitutes for personal computers and the PC market is going to collapse. Dediu runs Asymco which sells software development and consulting services for companies interested in deploying mobile applications. However he has come up with a lot of numbers and graphs to prove his point. His rise and fall of personal computing compares PCs to Macs, iOS and Android devices in shipped units and market share.."

Microsoft now paid royalties on 70% of US Android smartphones

"LG has become the latest in a long line of Android handset vendors to sign a patent licensing agreement with Microsoft. The agreement allows the South Korean conglomerate to use Microsoft patented technology in phones, tablets, and other consumer electronics running both Android and Chrome OS.
