1TB Hard Drive

Toshiba launches 1TB 2.5-inch drive

And a thinner 750GB unit

Toshiba has announced two new high capacity 2.5-inch hard drives aimed at high end notebooks and all-in-ones.

Western Digital announced the fisrt 1TB 2.5-inch drive last year, but adoption has been rather slow, mainly due to its high price and 12.5mm thickness. Toshiba's 1TB drive is 12.5mm thick as well, but the dual platter 750GB unit is 9.5mm thick and it can be squeezed into most notebook designs.
