Gigabyte 3D Mercury Water Cooling Case Video Review

Review #878 reviewed Thursday, August 13th, 2009 - 1 Comments

The Gigabyte 3D Mercury Water Cooling Case has everything you would want in a case and a water cooling kit. The case is aluminum, lots of drive bays, excellent air circulation, plenty on drive bays and great looks. The water cooling system in this case is one of the best integrated kits that I've seen to date. It's installed in such a way that it doesn't interfere with computer components and it super easy to maintain. There are also extra fittings to allow additional optional waterblocks to be added in a snap. If you're in the market for a water cooling case, this one is rules supreme!

SilverStone KL02 Case Video Review

Review #875 reviewed Thursday, August 13th, 2009 - 0 Comments

When looking for a mid-tower ATX case there are a few key features you want to look for. Make sure it has excellent air circulation, which this case does because it has one 120mm fan at the front, another at the back and two more optional 120mm fans can be installed on the left side panel. Be sure the case has enough drive bays, which this case does. It can be configured with 4x5.25" drive bays, 1x3.5" external, and 4x2.5" internal drive bays or an alternate 9x5.25" drive bay setup. Also, be sure that the case will fit the current long video card and this case does.

Cooler Master Cosmos 1000 Case Video Review

Review #865 reviewed Thursday, August 13th, 2009 - 2 Comments

The Cooler Master Cosmos 1000 Case is probably one of the most anticipated cases out there. It comes with lots of drive bays, acoustic foam, 5 120mm fans, large handles, and has a tooless design for installing drive in the 5.25" drive bays. It also has a very unique hard drive compartment system for storing up to 6 HDDs. This case is mostly steel though so it's fairly heavy, but this keeps the cost down over an all aluminum case. The iMON Ultra Bay will turn any mid-tower or full-tower case into a Home Theater PC Case. The iMON LCD products now uses the new iMON LCD developed by SoundGraph which is designed for the HTPC market. This particular LCD can display various system and media information using 96x16 pixels dot area and total of 177 icons. Using the iMON software allows the remote to be used as a mouse and keyboard replacement. It makes opening and closing applications a snap and you can even use the remote to turn on or off the computer system.

Zalman Z-Machine GT1000 Case Video Review

Review #854 reviewed Thursday, August 13th, 2009 - 0 Comments

If you're in the market for a very well constructed, thick aluminum mid-tower case, than the Zalman Z-Machine GT1000 Case is for you. With four external 5.25" drive bays, one external 3.5" drive bay and 6 internal drive bays, there lots of places to install drives. Although the front HDD cage which houses up to four HDDs does hinder air circulation. Speaking of air circulation, there are two 92mm fans at the front of the case and one 120mm fan at the back of the case. Since it is a mid-tower case there isn't a lot of room to work, but the motherboard tray is removable.

SilverStone SG03 SFF Case Video Review

Review #852 reviewed Thursday, August 13th, 2009 - 0 Comments

The SilverStone SG03 Case is one of the very best Small Form Factor cases on the market. The reason being is you can fit just about everything you need inside with very few restrictions. That's includes the NVIDIA 8800 GTX/Ultra Video Cards or the ATI 2900XT Video Card. The layout might be different than standard Small Form Factor cases, but this is a good thing because it means improved air circulation. It comes with a 120mm fan at the front which can be repositioned for custom cooling. Another optional 120mm fan can also be added at the front for optimal cooling.

Lian Li PC-A71 Case Video Review

If you are in the market for a full tower case and you need it to have excellent air circulation, dust filters, plenty of room to work, a removable motherboard tray, lots of drive bays, a sleek look, excellent construction and it has to be all aluminum, than I would strongly recommend checking out the Lian Li PC-A71 Case. There are six 120mm fans and two dust filters at the front, five external 5.25" drive bays and ten 3.5" drive bays. There's no other full tower server case that has these features and weights in at only 9.5kg (21lbs).

Thermaltake LANBOX Lite SFF Case Video Review

Review #848 reviewed Thursday, August 13th, 2009 - 3 Comments

The Thermaltake LANBOX Lite SFF Case really stands alone in many respects. One feature that really sets it apart from the many other small form factor cases (SFF) that are on the market is it's capable of an NVIDIA SLI Video Card setup. This will attract hardware gamers because it means you don't have to sacrifice performance when building a small form factor rig. Another big draw is the modular chassis. The power supply mount, external drive bay cage, internal drive bay cage and motherboard tray can be removed.

Antec P190 Case Video Review

Review #839 reviewed Thursday, August 13th, 2009 - 1 Comments

The Antec P190 Case is based on the original P180 case, but with many improvements. For one, it's a little larger so 12x13" Extended ATX form factor motherboards now fit. Also, there is no space issue fitting the newest very long video cards. The cases fans have also been upgraded. There are now a total of five TriCool fans; two 140mm at the top, one 120mm at the back and bottom, and a 200mm Big Boy fan on the left side panel. It has a cable management system, plenty of drive bays, a snake light, and much more.
