The SilverStone Air Penetrator AP123 Fan is an amazing 120mm fan that pushes a lot of air and is quiet. This is their 3rd generation air penetrator fan and it's the best one so far. Also, the ultra fine magnetic fan filters are excellent at keeping dust out of the case.

So, you love blue fans...ever tried the Alpenfoehn fans? I'm asking 'cause they do sell blue fans and (apparently) noisewise they should be quite good...I actually bought a few of their wingboosts a while ago but never used them :/. Anyway, since you dig blue fans, you might well be interessed in checking the Alpenfoehn Wing Boost Royal Blue Plus out. Bye!

This is a strong fan, but I think the Corsair SP120 has an edge over it.

From SilverStone, "We recommend AP121 for cases that already block noise with a front door design or indirect air path. The AP123 is a better fan of the two when the airflow path is more open and the vents are exposed (meaning noise escapes more directly)."

Its good to see someone has finally made a fan with varied blades. Car radiator fans have been doing this for years to cut down noise.

AP121 is for airflow restrictive stuffs such as radiator or hard drive cage
AP122 is for mainly used for intake or exhaust
AP123 is mixed between AP121 and AP122.
So, AP123 will work fine for both radiator and case cooling.
