LOL... Yea, it might take a while, but you can still charge it via a USB cable.

I was curious if it would still charge via the solar cell while outputting electricity, seems like it would be a better product for survival if it did(keep a charge longer while outdoors)

I would be careful of this device it doesn't have really good reviews.

So far so good for me and if it turns into crap, I'll post a follow-up video.

Nice. For my tricycle, I could get myself a Hymini Deluxe Pack which I could use to charge my smartphone.

I'll say that Scosche solBAT II is a great buy, even though it's not for me, unless it came with a bicycle mount.

On a side note.... the suction cups actually stick to the back on my Sony X10 Smartphone. So find a smooth surface on your bike and stick it ;)

Checking in Amazon.com...$20? Not bad!

Could the suction cup be stick to the aluminum surface, like in the handlebar? I really need to be clear as I don't know what smooth surface material will work with the suction cups that goes with the solar panel.

Could you flip a clip (where there's a place to hold the suction cups) so that the suction cups face down from the opposite side of the solar panel? If you can, can you show me the image so I can get an idea of what it looks like?

I'm wondering if I could come up with a mount for a bike where the glass can stick in and that I can stick a glass in it, which will then allow me to mount a solar panel?

Yes, the clear plastic part with the suction cups can be attached to the other side. So instead of having it on the solar panel side (the back) it would be on the front.

the problem i can see with this unit is the panel type, its a cheapy and they wear out very fast (6-10 months) if it was a mono or ploy-crystalline panel its would be great!!

Awesome looking product, I could really use something like this myself to help cut down on the power bills, from plugging in so many power bricks, just wish I could find one that charges 2, or 3 devices at one time lol!

So I have to sit through your YouTube ad before listening to your introduction of the product. Then I have to come to this site to actually see the review of the product, that is already hosted on YouTube. Weird, just say'n.
