Video Review #1188 Summary

Review category: Video Cards
Manufacturer info: More info

The HIS HD 6850 1GB GDDR5 Video Card is one of the best bang for the buck video cards out there. While it doesn't scream performance it is affordable and is jam packed full of features. Get a couple of these in a Crossfire setup and you're rockin'.

If e-cigarettes are made illegal, I dont know what Im going to do. I am 41 and started smoking when I was 10. NOTHING has ever helped me to stop smoking tobacco cigarettes until I found the e-cigarette. I do know that if I cant vape, Ill be forced to go back to real cigarettes and I dont want to do that.

Very good card,we shouldnt keep comparing or moaning what is best as the average user has such a dynamic selection these days unlike when i started 16yrs ago lol

Purchasing this card! High quality for the price you're paying, can't go wrong. Thanks for the review Rod!

Nvidia is becoming more and more of a possibility for my next card, neither one of them is looking too great at the momment. Both seem to have lots of new bells and whistle but as far as any real differnece, there really doesn't seem to be much.
At the end of the day, game developers have to be able to put out a product that will use these developments, (direct x 11 shader 5.0) if it takes a company three years to put out a game that is only 3 rooms large but uses the latest direct x and shader version etc... what's the point...

I have 2 4870s in CrossFire so Im looking at the New HD 6850s.

bla bla bla, you never change your video card or power supply reviews, you only talk about the cards look and what everyone can tell you about, then play the same old summary tech review bla bla.....

then make us go to your website for free advertsiment and time and crap...

it would've been better if you did a benchmark comparison of the 6850 vs 5770/5850/5870 rather than showing us the difference of dx10 and dx11 over and over again. just saying. :)

Nice...
But I'll be waiting for the 6970 Card :P

If it's worth doing , it's worth over-doing it :)

I've uploaded the video to YouTube, but it's been processing forever. YouTube seems to be having issues lately :(

Yeah this is true, and it's not to you alone. A lot of the other tech channels I visit have a long processing wait. Sometimes it takes up to 3 days!
