The NZXT Phantom Case looks like something from out of this world with it's bold styling. There are plenty of drive bays, toolless design, lots of fans, cable management, painted interior, fan controller and it's reasonably priced.
Nice blog! Is your theme custom made or did you download it from somewhere? A theme like yours with a few simple tweeks would really make my blog jump out. Please let me know where you got your theme. Bless you

...if you want generate more trafic to your website, work harder!
what kinds of motherboards can you get into this? Im getting an ASUS M5A97-EVO AMD 970FX | Socket AM3+ | 2-way CrossFireX/SLI | DDR3 2133Mhz | GB LAN | 4x USB 3.0 | 6x SATA 6 Gb/s | 8-Channel HD Audio | RAID | OC!
Cam you install a Saphire Radeon 6850 in this??
1 question please. At the front of the case there is a slot for a fan. I'm wondering if a 120mm fan can be installed there or it's only for a 140mm one as nzxt's website says. (http://www.nzxt.com/new/products/crafted_series/phantom)
Thanks
you said on your review the extra 200mm top fan is for intake. im not really sure what is the correct configuration for that. on the nzxt website they have it as exhaust..im a bit confused.
intake or exhause. which is best?
When it comes too fan cooling intake is just important as exhause.
You see your power supply, video cards and motherboard fans all remove heat from the
hardware.Your exhause removes all the built up heat from the case and don't forget the heat
from summer weather added. In all the flow rate of exchange sould be 60/40 intake and removal.

Well, since they include a dust filter for that particular one, it may be intended to be used as an intake, since you wouldn't want to filter dust exiting your PC. On the contrary, I would not reccomend using it as an intake fan because the two top fans would just cancel each other out.
My idea is to buy two new 200mm fans; one for the topside, and one for the side panel and use the dust filter that was intended for the top fan and use it for the side fan.
This way, I have direct cool air on the motherboard, and it is quickly removed by the top and rear fans.
How would you install a Corsair H50 into this case?
I have heard that in order to mount it on the back 120mm, both the top and side 200mm fans have to be removed.. Is this true?
And if so, could I mount the H50 on one of the two 120mm on the side?
Thanks in advance!:D
Whats it mean when it says "5 20w channel fan controller"?
It can control up to 5 fans @ 20w
i love that case
It sounds really loud, what is the dBa rating on this case?
Does the side 230mm fan have a included dust filter?
So the button at the back turns only the fan's LED off? Aren't the blue LEDs on the fan controls going to be giving off a bunch of light too? Basically, what I'm asking is, can I keep it on overnight in my dorm room and have it not be too light?
The back button only turns on the LED on the top fan, the others dont have LEDs.
100% Kickass review as always. I intend to use this case in my upcoming build but I have one question and hope you can help me out. Will the Thermaltake Frio fit in there with the 200mm/230mm side fan installed? I've seen photos with the Nzxt Phantom and they have the Frio inside so I know it sits comfortably. But, the Phantom does not included the side fan when purchased, so I'm pretty sure they're not using one . The Thermaltake Frio is about 165mm tall.
If there's one thing that makes 3DGM's day it's finding a case with a removable mobo tray.
The front and top panels red color seems more pinkish than the steel case color. XD
Two and a half Questions:
Can you have a 200x200x20mm side fan and a noctua nh-d14?If not, would it be better to get a smaller CPU cooler or remove the fan?
Will the air from the side 120mm fans contribute to the cooling of the whole case or just blow out the other side?(With a 140mm front fan installed.)
Thank you, please respond.

Thanks for letting us know, but we are aware of the issue and now trying to resolve it.
A lot of nice features. If you really care about cable management and easy installation of drives (hence the tooless design) this case appears to be a perfect choice. Dust filters! Nice!!!
Thank you Rodney! Wonder how many products you have helped sell for these companies? Keep up the 100% KICKASS reviews!!!
Does the front fan slot includes filter?
no
Exellent review, as allways.
Soon, cases will be nothing but a skeletal frame and filter screens. It'll like a screened in porch or mosquito net.
the inside of this case totally reminds me of my CM 690...
Wich case is better ??
The phantom or de Antec twelve hundred ???
Any news when this case will be available in Canada? :(
It's a very new product, so not many carrying it now. Give it time and you should see it at Canada Computer and/or Tiger Direct.
Dont forget NCIX :P
nice case in black or white shame its not ali.
Why do so many red cases have blue LEDs? I have an older Alienware PC, it is a dark orangeish-red, with black accents, and red LED fans, but it has a bright blue power LED! Personally, if my case is going to be red themed, there should be no blue, or green, or any other color. (except for white, silver, or black, because they kind of go with anything)
Though that is one sweet case though, I would love to get my hands on one. :)

Very nice looking case. With the potential of three HUGE fans. Air coolers dream. The case didn't even seem audible at the high settings. At 139.99 USD, this case is decently priced for the build. I like the lack of plastic and sharp edges. In what case does the extra HDD bays block the PSU? What dimensions can the PSU have?
