Can you crossfire this is a regular 5870? or a 5870 xxx black edition?

Anonymous

yes but the 2gb would only be 1gb it downgrades to match it as i understand it

just a comment rodney, how well do the display port adapters stay in the card? thats alot of weight to be putting on connections and im worried about the lifespan of them. i like the updated arrangement with a larger opening for the fan exhaust (hopefully will reduce noise!!!) the connections seem to look like mini USB connections and i know that over time, even those connections can get loose.

awaiting the video review,

Man, wish I could get this card but I'm still using AGP and the HD4670 as well as in a position where I can't build a new system. =/

yeap, this one is brand new, the main differences are that you can now connect up to 6 monitors on 1 single card and you have the twice much memory.

@Anonymous

Not only that, but I hear the extra 1GB of frame buffer doesn't do much for performance.

This card is great and everything but i just can't see it appealing to a big audience as it has a high price tag and the majority of people who have gaming PC's don't have the money for 6 monitors...
