There are lots of media players out there, but few that can do it all like this product. The A.C. Ryan PlayOn!HD Media Player accepts 3.5" HDDs up to 2TB in size, comes with media card reader, USB ports for connecting thumb drives, external dives & external DVD drives. There are all kinds of audio/video connects, including HDMI, 10/100 LAN port, and much more. This media player can play the latest audio and video formats, including MKV 1080p videos. There's even a wireless N option available. It's simple one of the very best media player on the market.
esdeexx, It would work excellent on that 50"er. I currently the PlayOn!HD connected into a Toshiba Regza 52" 1080p 120Hz Flat-Panel LCD HDTV.
100 megabit network connection? They really need to upgrade that connector to support a gigabit. Besides, I have a 1 Gigabit switch connected between my Linux server and my computer.
Be nice to Rodney, anonymous users. And stop cussing. :)
*cough* some people! :/
Why the fuck disable the comments?
It might have something to do with all the unbelievably silly comments people leave on YouTube ;) So, without me closing down the 3dGameMan YouTube channel all together, I'm going to give this a try.
So now, if you wish to ask a question, you can do it on 3dGameMan.com. This way I can respond more directly to people. This will mean a much better experience for everyone in the long run :)
Face it, the real reason you disable the comment on Youtube is to drive traffic to 3dgameman.com. I have not seen "unbelievably silly comments" in Youtube. There are sure one or two silly comments, but that's it. Besides, you can't stop silly comments in here either, like those comments that cursed you for disabling comment on Youtube.
I call you retard for disabling the comments.
hi, i have a markus 800 and i am very dispointed with it it plays standard avi file no problem but when i play an mkv file with sony dts it's all picture no sound which is no use to me really, they advertise it as being able to play mkv files but it wont play the sound that normally comes with them which is false advertisement really, im just wondering does this media ceter do the same
does it support avchd??
Hey Rodney, I have a few questions.
How does the interface work when scrolling through many files, for instance music?
Do you have to scroll through each individual item to get to one of the files in the middle of the list or is there some sort of quick scroll feature, apart from the search?
Does is sort with folders as an OS would or through metadata?
Also, I noticed a search function, how does this work? on screen keyboard?
youtube comments please
Just enable youtube comments.
Is it that hard?
If anyone has any questions about this media player, please let me know. I've been using it for over a month now and I have to say, it's one very impressive product.
Also, if you need the latest firmware, you'll find it here: http://www.acryan.com/forums/viewforum.php?f=44. I'm currently using Beta firmware version r3400 + YAMJ 5th release.
