Ivy Bridge produce more heat than Sandy Bridge with high overclocks.

Can you please explain the differences of Ivy bridge, Haswell and the Sandy Bridge that someone mentioned on youtube ? Are they just the same or are they good some something specific ?

Sandy bridge is 32nm whereas Ivy bridge is 22nm. They are very similar apart from a small performance gain, but Ivy uses less power and produces less heat due to smaller manufacturing process.
