Hi, I'm looking for a gaming full tower case which already has a build in fan controller. I've got CM Cosmos II, Nzxt Phantom 820 and CM Storm Trooper/Stryker (is there a difference between these two? I can't see it).
Perpahs you could guide me to some other available or soon to come out cases? Or should I forget the built in fan controller and widen my search to all full towers ?
Cheers and keep the quality reviews coming ;)
Hi. I just saw your video "Gaming PC Case" on Youtube. I need a little help in doing a custom setup. I have decided on the following:
Processor: Intel i5-3550
RAM: Corssair 16GB(4x4GB) 1600 Mhz RAM
Motherboard: ASrock Z77 extreme4 / z77 extreme6
Cooling System: Corsair H100 / Hyper 212 Evo Cooler
Graphics Card: Nvidia GTX 670 / AMD 7970
Hard Disk: 120 GB SSD
Secondary Hard Disk: 1 TB
I want to buy a budget case like you said in the video which has "Tooless Design", "Power Supply at bottom" , "around 7 expansion slots", usb 3.0 ports, bottom power supply
I thinking of buying a gaming case and I already have 2 in mind :
- cooler master HAF X Nvidia edition
- cooler master Storm Scout
which of these do you think i should buy , i have the budget , i don't go to LAN parties , i already have graphic cards :D
HAF X
Haf X!
Finding a HAFX nVidia edition might be a bit of a trick. It was a short run and as far as I know, unavailable now.
Possibly the HAF X, but the STorm Scout is excellent as well. Take a look at them again and your current as well as your future needs and go from there.
This article gives the light in which we can observe the reality.this is very nice one and gives in depth information. thanks for this nice article. The Law Offices of WT Johnson - Dallas
Awesome Guide Rodney. :) Your videos are always so well done.
Thanks bud, I appreciate it. I've been doing this so long now, good or bad, it's what I do... LOL
i was a midtower guy but loving the fulltowers that are popping up. but i do love the Bitfenix Prodigy case.
That case is EPIC! Hands down the best baby tower on the market. Works as a frag box or a file server. And everything in the middle.
i have to have a case that has a window!
Yea, everyone has their own likes and dislikes :)
I found this to be an excellent guide for choosing a case. I'm personally a huge fan of mini itx and micro atx systems. I watched a video review of yours about a week ago of the Lian Li PC-TU200b. I fell in love with that case because of it's style and all aluminum build. The only thing that worried me about it is heat. Also loved that it had a sturdy handle and was a very compact case overall. I would of posted this comment under my username if I remembered it lol. Guess I'll have to make a new one.
Thank you for this very helpful guide on the right way. This will be very helpful for those you are just starting to blog. Your post has been more than helpful.new braunfels dwi lawyer

Did a password reset and found the username =).
Cool. Welcome back ;)
Do you think you could do a rough guide on choosing a motherboard? I find the most difficult part of computer build is choosing the right motherboard. There are just so many brands, chipsets and sockets to choose from.
A generic motherboard guide would be a challenge, because as you mentioned, there are so many brands, chipsets, sockets.
Oh shit first!!!!!, There is tons of case in the 50-60 dollar range have everything you need. USB 3.0 and 2.0, big motherboard cut out, tons of fan options, wire rotting holes, window side or none window, one good example is ENERMAX OSTROG ECA3253-BL. Most of all have fun choosing!!!! some many choices
True enough, it is fun researching and trying to figure out what case is best for you.
