In order for me to get one of these video cards, I have to upgrade my power supply -.- I would chose 7970 over 680 because I just prefer them.

It also depends on the application. For instance games that use Direct Computing, 7970 will win. Same goes with GPGPU-application. For folding 7970m is my choice.

you could change the beginning of your video for a poster whit "come to this site and post" :)

¿the 7970 and the 680 are single CPU? ¿so we can use 4 of this 7970 or 4 of this 680?

i was wondering, i have seen a good set of reviews and what not, but my speculation about the technology is this i am current running 8 gb of ram would a 2gb express 2.0 @ DDR3 be better than a GDRR5 overlocked 1gb express 2.0???

It also depends on what software you are running. Some like OpenCL (AMD cards)and some like Cuda (Nvidia). And some games play better with AMD and some with Nvida. So what software are you running and what games are you playing is also important. As is money or cost and availability right now is key. And the looks of the card to you eye..

No matter what you choose, HD7970 or GTX680, you can't go wrong!
