I voted "sex," as with other comments I have to say that there must me qualifiers.
I have severe fibromyalgia as well as other infirmities that limit me and my physically active actions, and yes, sex must be included in there. For gaming, I have an XBox 360 on one big screen, and a PC on the other, and both places have comfortable furniture that can make a painful day still a gaming day.
I will say, though, that my wife will ALWAYS be the priority. I may not be able to handle everything, but when the choice is a game or spousal support, I will never put the game higher.
Granted, I've been married for almost 16 years, and am a comparatively old fart who will hit the big four-oh this year, so perhaps that has changed how I react, or maybe that's just me!
I have to say, without a doubt, I would never forfeit sex/love for a game. Reason being, as someone mature, making love stands as a priority for those who have a significant other. You can always play video games, because it has an on and off switch. Its materialistic and has no soul. If you neglect a person's needs or wants, it has repercussion, and if it happens to a significant other, well, life isn't that great.
And besides, if a video game gives you an orgasm and make you reach ecstasy, then you have a problem... a VERY big one...
i must unfortunately answer game :(
For people that have never had a girlfriend, the only option is game.
I am a pretty eager gamer but I made the experience that a girl is more important to me than a game. It doesn`t need to be sex, I just like spending time with my girlfriend more than I like to play games. Sadly I don`t have a girlfriend atm :(
There could be grey options for Both, Depends Ect.. but this pole is asking more about the refined core value of what is more important. For me Sex is more important, but after that I'll play the new game. ;)
I voted "sex", but the question really need qualifiers. We're talking about a new game, so are we talking about a new sexual partner too? I think if you've been waiting 6 months for a particular game to come out, and your partner says you can either have sex or play the game, then if you have sex every night anyway, you might be happy to miss out for one night to play the game. But if you haven't had sex for six months, and a supermodel is hitting on you, I think you'd quite happily throw the game in the bin.
I will probably get a lot of heat from this, but I will express my views on it despite that.
To start out; I need to express what strengthens my arguments is how many people have difficult lives, and are always stressed. For me at least, games create a fictional world. A place to forget about life problems, and simply relax. A game that I enjoy, takes me from this world for a few hours and puts me in it's realm to simply have fun. It doesn't matter if it's a slice and dice, racing, fps, or musical game. For instance; I'm learning how to play guitar, so RockSmith helps me to enjoy the experience, it's a pure positive time playing that game.
Sex however; despite it's obvious pros, can have a lot of cons. Let's look at the exact same stressed person. If he or she engages in sex it is indeed more satisfying until the moments after when an argument happens, or you have to discuss more stressful events. It's simply not the same experience. One just tends to be a little less stressful than the other. I would however, put games on the same level as reading books, watching movies, or listening to music.
whoa now thats laying it on really thick as peanut butter
Sex is winning!
Me personally I like to game after sex
Of all the questions in the world ..this one has to rise up lmao but i figure well i am surprised that this hasnt came up before hand
