Nothing like a good morning cup of delete the Anonymous posts.. Personally I don't care for Anonymous posting and would love nothing more than the option removed. Keep pushing the buttons.

No, at least not for me, I am not rude to any one on my smart phone, I can see why other people can be/are but I myself, if I am rude, I am completely unaware of it.

NO NO NO!!! People use their smartphone like that because they ARE rude. Being rude causes rude behavior, not the other way around.

I can say for some people, it does make there rude, as with my brother, who if he is not with his wife, they will be on there phones, texting each other ever 5/10 mins, or so. It's damn annoying. As for myself, I don't really have a so called "Smartphone", as I have a decent Motorola W408G feature phone on Net10, after my LG900g bit the dust earlier this year.

What's on my phone is usually way more interesting than what someone is yackin about.

What happened Rod? wife is into the matrix now?
Man...!
It's aaaaaallll about IM messaging

It is actually not related to the smartphone itself, same happens with some people doing IM messaging on a PC, they just can't hold a conversation with a real person, I think they didn't notice that the message will stay on the screen while the real people will not always be there.

I was about to say that the problem is IM messaging but the truth is that some people needs to learn how to use these new gadgets, a whole new culture needs to rise and teach new generations that the message will stay on the screen when u finish to speak with a real human being. Doesn't matter if that virtual contact is your hot russian new girlfriend, or an old friend from highschool, they all can wait the same way we wait for others while doing Messenger or facebook or SMS, whatever.

Smartphones are cool, GPS, readers, Office, YOUTUBE...!, voice google search, games, still and movie cam, radio, mp3, bluetooth, applications, etc, there are so many hacks and tools available now, my chinese phone has even TV. The trick is just not to login to those all frikin social networks cause if anybody really needs us: he will call...!, that's whay they call them "phones", u might login if you really have nothing useful to do. But using ur expensive cutting edge technology device to tweet? that's stupid...!

People are rude, smartphone can't make you rude. Just like people kill people, guns don't kill people.

As much as I like my N8, I wouldnt say Im addicted to it.

I think that this kind of behaviour already started when people got their first mobilephones not just now with the smartphones.

I guess it depends on the person.

My sister seems more focussed on her Blackberry than her 26 weeks old daughter/my niece.

Very good poll. Well in my family my younger cousins are always playing with there smartphones (Twitter, Msn,...) Sometimes you're talking against a wall. But lately my friends even picked it up and became rude when I told them that you should use the Mobile Phone what it was meant to be used. There respons was bull****. So maybe but a little. Some people can control it but some lose it completely and can not live without a phone or msn, skype for even a week. I've got a samsung galaxy and I regret buying it because I don't use all the functions except sending messages and calling people. But trendy things always catch my eye that I must own.

i have a smart phone (andriod) but use it as a phone i dont even look at it unless it rings or i put pictures into dropbox.

Stupid poll. First like month you have it you use it very much. After then you dont really use it unless you need it or so. Its not like that if i hang out with my friends i pull out my phone and start playing and ignoring them. If so your really stupid

Maybe you are just a rude person that uses a smart phone? Then again the idea that a phone can be smart normally speaks volumes of the user that believes in such a thing is necessary.
