I have a Canon Elph LT 260 APS camera. It's a drop-in film so you don't have to get your fingerprints in the film when you roll it in. I used my camera at Walt Disney World, mostly in Epcot's Future World; additionally, I took pictures at Port Orleans French Quarter, which includes the look of the streets.

HTPC: AMD Athlon X2 4050e CPU with 780G ATX motherboard running Windows 8 DP (4GB) and Ubuntu; Server: AMD AII X2 240e CPU with 880G-based ATX motherboard running Ubuntu Server 10.04 LTS (8GB)

2 pairs of Insignia NS-B2111s (front/rear), Pioneer SP-C21 Center Speaker, and 12" Velodyne Sub

Just ordered HP Pavilion dv7-6165us from QVC. Will have it by next Friday.

Digital SLR for really really nice shots...
Nice canon camera, 350 bucks at walmart.

Point n Shoot digital for on the fly.
Canon cheapy about 80 bucks

Canon is of course nice, but something extra they provide a cable to connect to the TV, nice for viewing video, and for good old fashioned slide show family entertainment.

I have a point-and-shoot and a camcorder (not 1080p capable though). I'd love to be able to afford a nice DSLR for serious photography though.

Are you crazy? Intel Sandy bridge just came out! You should have made a poll about that!

Just stay calm there Intel fanboy, I'm sure he will be doing a poll on Intel again, sometime in the future. ;-)

Hey, wait a second... I'm hardly a fanboy and switch between AMD and Intel for different machines. I'm just so excited about 5.4 GIGAHERTZ of OCed processing power! That's fantastic!

I personally own a few different Point & shoot Digital cameras, video cameras, some better then others, they are as follows:

Point and shoots:
1.DIGITAL Concepts AA080(was a gift from grandmother before she died, who knew nothing about electronics, only saw price.)
2. Fuji A805(needs new battery door, but still a great camera)
3. Nikon L19(quality got worse over a years time)
4. Sanyo VPC-S120(Awesome 12.1MP Point & shoot, that rivals Point and shoots 3 times it price, and it's my fav camera I own to use, and even end up buying my g/f one.)

Digital Camcorders:
1. DXG 506V(first digital camcorder that was bought super cheap, that also takes so so pics, and plays Mp3 files.)
2. Coby Snapp Cam3000(was a Christmas gift from my boss a few years ago, and it's not very good, except outside in good daylight.)
3. Canon FS100 (bought on sale from newegg.com for $189US, & it's the best Standard Def digital camcorder I've seen for the money, once you learn how to use all it features, and ignore it's still camera mode, except as a last resort, also make sure to take good care of the battery as it's $80US to replace.)

Cell Phone Camera:
1. Samsung T401g on Net10 (good for quick shots, when I forget to pack any of my other cameras, and will take small video clips, and it claims 1.3MP, but more like slightly above VGA quality in good light.)

Any other cameras I have, I can't be bothered to dig them out of storage to talk about them, or they have bitten the digital dust.

some info before you read this:
My dad is a professional motocross photographer, so he has lots of body's.

he is a Canon fan BTW

so at home we have:

1x Canon EOS 1D mark III
1x Canon EOS 1D mark IV
1x Canon EOS 5D mark III
1x Canon EOS 60D
2x Canon EOS 7D <-- his personal fav.
1x Canon EOS 50D

1x Canon Ixus 1000HS
(he buy's a new Ixus every time Canon releases one, this is his latest model, but we still have the older ones to.
he always takes 1 or 2 with him when hes on a rally or something. they are easy to take with you.)

just did a quick count and i counted 6 Ixus so far.

5D Mark III does not exist....

You must have a collection of crippled pieces of plastic.

Not trying to sound insensitive to those that are out of work, but the money for jobs is still there if they are willing to learn new skills, maybe digital camera skills? lol

Well you're right about that :)
