Depends, if it's much difference from 5xxx series but i heard only about 20-30% perfomance increase. Let's hope benchmarks are better :)

I will be getting them for my next build... that's about 1/2 to 1 year from now ^^

Already bought SLI GTX 460s.

I'm most likely going to be getting one to upgrade from my crossfire 5770s but if you're going to review them and have a Crysis benchmark (as you usually do) please use "Enthusiast" settings instead of just high. Most of these newer cards can handle crysis maxed out just fine, my 5770s included :P

I am going to get a 5870 once the price drops. Hopefully I can get one for about $300.

I don't know right now,I have the ATI eah4890HD video card and it do the job but I bet the 6xxx will be expensive :$ so will see. I want put it under watercooling so I already see the big $. With the college next years idk XD. The only reason I could buy one if I OC my video card and burn it on purpose lol or try to break it lol. Nah seriously lets wait and see.

me and my friend "beatmachine123" are going to be building two new computers in time for when the 6970 are due to arrive later in november.
we were orignally going for the 6870, but found out that it was slower than the 5870 (between 5850 and 5870)

I already got the gtx 460 so I won't need a new card for a few years at least.

It completely depends on what their performance is like and how much they cost. From what I've heard so far the 6870 (designed to replace 5770) should be pretty good. If it can beat a GTX 460 1GB for around a similiar price I might get a 6870. If it doesn't I might just get a 460, or just keep using my ancient 4890 lol.
