It would be nice if you did them in the morni9ng so people in the UK could watch live.

Attended the last live show and think it is a great idea to keep it going. The word is getting out of you live shows so you will get more viewers I am sure.

Was thinking that it would be neat to include news of upcoming or already released products such as motherboards, CPU's, and GPU's then maybe have some quick tips and suggestions for what was talked about in the news. That would be great for people looking to build a new rig. I guess that's coming from me because I'm looking to get a new build done soon :)

I really like the last show where you did a Q&A segment and interacted with your viewers. I learned a few things from those.

The show length of 30 minutes is good.

I really dont know when they are, i only notice it after the live shows are over :( i miss them everytime.

I actually like the live shows but:
[*]The first live show was faaaaaaar toooooo long.
[*]Even the shows are quite nice it's kinda odd to wait until you have read the comments (sorry, I don't know any better idea for that)
[*]The length of the second video is ok. I would say 20 to 30 minutes are a good length so that you don't get bored.

I don't think that I will ever be able to see you videos live because I can't stay up like at 4am. I just need my beauty sleep ^^
However, over 1'200 views on YouTube are really not bad at all!

Anonymous

I would have liked to have gotten more notice, I try to stay up on things, but perhaps you there could have been something like when you say "the video review is now on 3dgameman.com". I subscribe via youtube and sometimes if I see your face I don't always click it because it could just be a review I could watch later. If it had a black screen and said "Tomorrow at Xam or Xpm I will be doing a live show" it would be easier to know when it was happening. Just a thought. I was one of the 541 that didn't make it because I just didn't know.

Show us you playing online FPS games! And tell which server you play on so we can be part of your show as well.

I love the idea of a live tech show, and though I have only seen a bit of the broadcast on YouTube, I have some ideas on what you could add to the show.

You could try and come up with segments or little featurettes. Maybe have some micro-reviews, and have the audience ask questions about the product. A product comparison, or like a "versus" type segment showing the pros and cons of two or more products and determining a winner.

Also, tutorials on hardware installation and configuration (e.g. overclocking) would be very useful, maybe with some polls determining what to demonstrate.

Anonymous

I saw the "second" one which was great but you REALLY need to add a countdown timer to each one because the time difference is a pain for most people, giving a countdown timer would help people out immensely in getting the timing right and might also even add to the excitement of the thing :)

They're great, really enjoyed being there...

People who voted no, either do not know about computers, or are just trolls, or of course have not even viewed them. Don't look on their views with a flashlight.

Really liked the 30min piece you broadcast though I watched it on YouTube. I can't watch them live as I live in Finland which is in UTC +2 timezone. :S

To be fair Rodney, the live shows as they have currently been are a complete waste of time. There needs to be a reason for me or someone else to go and watch it. YOu need to utilise the key selling point of it being "LIVE" and take advantage of it, as its the only time we see the real ROdney in action. And you can make it much more personal and express your opinions on certain topics/subjects.

It needs to be different from everything else you do, and also entertaining. As its a "show" as you call it.

how bout live poll voting just like on the website but make it live and updated every 5 sec or so. i think it would help with those questions like "where do you live" or "favorite browser" to have a live poll instead of comments flying like a flock of birds across the chat window

Anonymous

Hello,
Maybe you can have a product (any type of product) and begin by a presentation of it and tell us why you like it... for no more then 2-4 min and after that answer the questions like you do in your 2 live shows. It's my suggestion, and thank you for doing that.

Anonymous

You should make them alot shorter, and maybe more often ? since they would be shorter

Anonymous

I think the live show was pretty good, but I was actually expecting like a show about where you show us how to put together a system, or how to install/format OS and little things like that...

i love the shows but i always miss them because of timezones

Anonymous

Unfortunately it takes forever to stream those videos on this weak laptop. I'll have to wait for my custom build before I can tune in, but I am expecting them to be good.

I say keep the flow generally the same as your video reviews on youtube. You can't please everyone, so you may as well please yourself and do the shows in a fashion that you feel comfortable with (everything else will follow).

Can't watch live, but did catch up via Youtube. Quite enjoyed them both, didn't have time to watch all of Live Show #1, but did have a few laughs at Live Show #2.

ok so i like the life show idea as far as time zones look guys he cant do every time zone out there im sry if this comes off mean
but its true so quit it with the time zones

I am unsubscribing to all your Youtube channels. Your questions are pointless and you don't post your reviews on Youtube anymore. Posting a comment on Youtube saying that the review for XYZ product is ready on YOUR personal wibsite is lame, unfair, time wasting and has to be a violation of Youtube policies. I don't mind people tooting thier oun horn, but you my friend are taking advantage of Youtube and doing an injustice to your subscribers. Your channels have become a complete waste of time.

A major fact that you are not aware of is, if my YouTube subscribers don't support me (my sites), I won't be able to keep producing all these videos. Thankfully most are aware of this fact and are fine with it.

Havnt seen any of them, timing is not ideal for me

Yes, I love the live shows, but my time zone is (+3.00).
Saturday 9.30 PM EST = Sunday 5.30 AM in my home.

I wish you good luck and success.

Hey,

I recommend you dont ask to much to people if they like it and what could be better. Because everyone want something else. I think you should present the way you feel comferteble. XD sorry 4 bad english XD

Two things. Diffrent timezone for me Iceland / And the amount of people commenting. Everything just burst on to the screen. You have to be superman to keep up.

Anonymous

I think it's a great idea, but i won't be able to watch them live, the time difference is really too bad (Sweden).

Anonymous

i do love them and i want you to continue doing them, however i am unfortunately never online at the time of the broadcasts (im in england and often work saturdays) but i still do enjoy watching the playbacks

Keep up the good work

VOLUME IS TOO LOUD!

Then turn it down on your speakers.. Its not loud enough for some people, especially those that have 5.1 systems...

The show was great Rodney. I had to stay up a little late but it was worth it. I will definitely tune in each week.

Your Show starts at 3:30AM in my timezone. Thats to late :(

But currently I have holiday. So maybe I will see your next show :)

Anonymous

I watched your recorded liveshow which is sort of ironic, and I loved it. I would be really happy to catch you live but you start at 3:30am where I live. :(

Anonymous

Watchd it on the youtube channel...but like others have said...i didnt notice a reminder about it there so I never knew it was actually taking place...will definitely watch this week though...i have a few questions on bang for the buck builds...lol

Anonymous

I voted Yes. However I would argue there is a problem with live feeds.

As useful it is to have a certain time to relate to, in addition to announcing the time of a broadcast I think some form of count-down graphics or a count-down clock would be helpful for viewers to quickly get to know when the next broadcast is going live. This, instead of leaving a viewer to simply having to try wrap his/her brain about how timezones adjust the local time of him/her.

Anonymous

I missed the show because you didnt say that it was live on your youtube channel... i dont visit your website except to comment and also im not suscribed to your person channel. so please post a video reminding your 3dgameman youtube viewers PLEASE

Anonymous

I like them, but i dont like to sit up all night to watch them.

i live in the U.K. so if the show is on at 9.30pm that means that i can watch the show in the U.K. at 3.30am. that means austraila will be at i think 3.30pm.

Anonymous

I chose "other"

Simply because I have not seen them yet, as I live in Australia, but once I work out what time that is here, I will be tuning in.

This is my first comment ever on this site, and I just want to say, thanks for all your help over the years, literally everything in my computer I got the information about from your helpful videos.

Thanks a lot

I would have loved to see them live but i missed them because i was completely unaware of when it was starting. Anyway i thought the show was great and is a great idea if anyone needs an opinion from you or maybe a question! =]

Anonymous

You should announce it on youtube like a temporary shoutout video with a 5 second time

The show is great... I did get a little annoyed with people asking you way too many personal questions. cukoo!

Having a computer/tech mythbuster of the week would be awesome.

What I think would be phenomenal is if there is a product that gets delivered to you Friday or Saturday to do a quick Live unboxing of that product...at least for computer cases or video cards. I know it wont be every week, but on the weeks it does happen it will be a nice treat.
