I use Google chrome along with an extension called Speed dial which allows me to see bookmarks of certain pages that i denote in a speed dial like interface

My browser usually opens the last opened tabs after a restart (Chrome).

On the other side, I use http://localhost as another homepage ;)

I don't have a homepage.. I let Firefox save me previous opened tabs so I never start with my homepage. And I there's an error with Firefox it starts at 3Dgameman.com :D

As I use Opera, no startpage is required. I haven't added any speed dial pages though. So my startpage is blank. You could say google, as it my speed dial search engine, but I dont really need that as I have a google search right of my address bar anyway.

What people do most on the internet will shine through here. I am pretty sure most people will use a search engine even though nearly all browsers have a searchfield built in.
You should be an extreme movieholic if you use imdb as startpage, even though I guess most people know it and us it regularly.
Twitter, hmm. In my opinion it's a mess - but maybe someone can enlighten my about it's uses?
I am surprised to see so many blanks. But I guess it would be different had the poll been elsewhere.
