Camping with the family all through the beautiful Stockholm islands.
Bringing my iphone to watch some world cup football. Stockholm has great 3G coverage. But watching streaming TV kills your battery!

Southern Hemisphere = Winter :(

I started playing World of Warcraft trial when i got this summer vacation. I figured out, why not? There isn't quite much to do anymore.

Alot of WOW players at my day job have been taking time off away from the game because everything has been done. Most people are waiting on the next expansion. There does not seem to be alot of good MMORPG's at the moment.

I sleep fine at night knowing we are banning people who deserve it.  Tivon

I'll be inside, mainly due to a combination of working as a software intern at Cisco and building a new gaming rig. (I just ordered my parts today! :D)

And if any critics abide on these forums, feel free to let me know what you think about my build.

Besides being bigger than I need and, in my opinion, not as good-looking, it was considerably more expensive.

Man I'd like to play games, but this summer's going to be busy. School, School, School, then finally some free time to try to push my computer as high as it can go- which ain't far, seeing how my cooler sucks. Also raising money to finish building my personal gamer pc :) 500 to go.

Going to start to play eve on-line for 1st time after exam next Tuesday... Looking forward to it :)

Considering the weather here in Scotland changes from one day to the next, mostly from warm and sunny to wet and windy, I'll be doing a bit of both.
I've already gone and done a 6 day camp in the highlands, I have another planned for later on and I'll be helping someone beta test a game they're working on. That's all that's planned so far. :) All while trying to search for a part-time job.

Mostly socializing with my friends. I also have a holiday booked for July so looking forward to that. I'm a computing student going into higher education at college in September, so any time not spent out will be spent indoors studying Java books and other such topics :-)

My last career was a farm worker so no doubt I'll be helping  my brother out who works on a farm.

Great YouTube channel and Website btw!

I get to find a job to start getting some income, hopefully I will be able to hang out with friends as well as finish some computer projects I have been putting off. :|

Other:

Cause my grandparents are here for 6 months (day 3 of 6 months today) so I will be taking them to all places in the rockies and camping etc as well as taking them to Fort McMurray... I live in Calgary so the rockies are technically "in our back yard". I will be doing some computer work as well as a bit of gaming so I guess everything mixed together. Also keep building and maintaining my website and the projects within it ( www.leetgeekgear.ca ) .... Oh and photography, definitely lots of photography... Have a great summer guys...

I don't know so far. I guess that I will work all the time and won't have that much time to go on holidays or game a lot (even I would like to)

I intend to work until August and then catch a plane to Vancouver visiting some relatives and friends for a week or two. Afterwards I will fly to Australia where it is really nice that time of year, rent me a car, and drive off but don't worry I have my sat Internet with me all the time :). Haven't had real holidays in six years. I just have to get away because we have 32-37°C in summer, which is nice, but a humidity of 56% and higher makes it not such a nice place to stay, unless you are a tourist and have AC in your room.

Enjoying the sun, beer & barbecues! and most likely some gaming at night. Heres hoping the UK weather is nice this year! whoop whoop:)

I want to work this summer to make money and buy my i7 system..

Sun isn't a good thing, at least here in the middle east.

It's fucking hot.

Tell me about it man. I live in Florida and it's always hot and humid. Feels like 105F outside. It's 65F right now in the server room that I work at. People give me looks when I walk outside with a jacket!

I can't imagine living in a desert with dry heat. I feel like a hotdog in a Microwave! I have Mediterranean blood from my Mom, but my father is a direct descendent of your typical English white man. I can't tolerate the extreme heat.

Speaking of descendents, I figured out last year that Rodney and I share some far distant relatives, it's a small World.

Anyway, at least I have shade here with the trees and it rains 20% everyday in the summer. But now this oil is coming to our beaches and with it probably a nice hurricane to burst any protection efforts in place now. I'm not looking forward to it. What are we to do, can't get off oil and switch to batteries. Few people understand that florescent bulbs and batteries are far worse for the environment with mercury poisoning and land mining for rare Earth metals & minerals is not good.

Maybe the Sun in the Middle East could be a good thing with Cheap Solar Power rather than selling Oil.

Nothing. it is winter for me

I'll be working a bunch in July. Then off to LA in August, then once I get back I'm building a new PC. My current PC is on its very last legs. It's 5 years old and PCs are not like wine. They do not age well. Hope to catch some concerts somewhere in there too.

Also my account won't allow me to log in. I even tried to reset my password and clicked the "One time Log-in" button and it always brings me to a "Access Denied" page. My account is WEGGLES.

I'm pretty much going to be on the computer all summer but during July I'm going down to Texas to see my bro graduate from basic training and then I'm heading up to Comic Con.

I'm working as a summer intern at NASA. It involves a lot of sitting doing research at the computer.

Summer camp! :D

Anonymous

I this summer will be mainly working and conditioning for US Marine Corps boot camp training. The only thing I have to do before I get shipped off is take the oath of enlistment. :D But I will find time to hang out with friends and family and play a few video games. Still working on F.E.A.R. 2 Project Origen.
