Video Review #839: Antec P190 Case

The Antec P190 Case is based on the original P180 case, but with many improvements. For one, it's a little larger so 12x13" Extended ATX form factor motherboards now fit. Also, there is no space issue fitting the newest very long video cards. The cases fans have also been upgraded. There are now a total of five TriCool fans; two 140mm at the top, one 120mm at the back and bottom, and a 200mm Big Boy fan on the left side panel. It has a cable management system, plenty of drive bays, a snake light, and much more.

Video Review #840: Cooler Master Aquagate S1 Water Cooling System

Many people are intimated by water cooling because they don't want liquid spilling all over their hardware components. This is a concern, especially if you are piecing together a water cooling system yourself. If you chose to do that, you have to be 100% sure that it's not going to leak. This is not so much of a concern with the Cooler Master Aquagate S1 Water Cooling System because everything is pre-connected. This kit does perform reasonable well, it's affordable and installation is extremely simple. The only pitfall to this kit is the small pump which makes an annoying loud buzzing sound.

Video Review #843: Ultra X3 1000W Modular Power Supply

What separates the Ultra X3 1000W Modular Power Supply from the many other's that are on the market is it's completely modular. Some power supplies within the 1000W range claim to be modular, but the main motherboard leads are still hard wired into the power supply. This power supply comes with a very quiet 135mm fan which provides fantastic cooling and means this it can be used in almost any environment. I also like the fact that the Ultra X3 line of power supplies ranges from 600 watts to 1600 watts. So the user can pick a model for their power requirements.

Video Review #846: PC Power & Cooling Silencer 750W Quad PSU (Crossfire)

With 20 years of experience building power supplies for the consumer and industry, it's no wonder PC Power & Cooling is THE preferred power supply. I personally have two S75Q models in two of my computer systems and have no issues whatsoever. So I really know first hand over an extended test period how excellent the Silencer model really is. The PC Power & Cooling Silencer 750W Quad CrossFire Edition Power Supply (S75CF) is really the same as the previous model (S75Q), except it has two 8pin (6+2) PCIE leads and its red.

Video Review #848: Thermaltake LANBOX Lite SFF Case

The Thermaltake LANBOX Lite SFF Case really stands alone in many respects. One feature that really sets it apart from the many other small form factor cases (SFF) that are on the market is it's capable of an NVIDIA SLI Video Card setup. This will attract hardware gamers because it means you don't have to sacrifice performance when building a small form factor rig. Another big draw is the modular chassis. The power supply mount, external drive bay cage, internal drive bay cage and motherboard tray can be removed.

Video Review #1027: CoolIT Domino Advanced Liquid Cooling CPU Cooler

The CoolIT Domino Advanced Liquid Cooling CPU Cooler performs extremely well, easy to install and is affordable. As a matter of fact it's around the same price as a really good air cooler but performs better. This sealed liquid cooling system comes completely configured with the liquid coolant preinstalled. So theres no need for any extra installation like many other liquid cooling kits. By combining the waterblock, pump, radiator and reservoir together, CoolIt has simplified the traditional four-component loop into just one-component.

Video Review #1028: Thermaltake V9 Black Edition Case

The Thermaltake V9 Black Edition Case is the top of the line in the V9 series. It comes with two massive 230mm fans and two 120mm fans which provide excellent air circulation. It has great looks and is all black. There are plenty of drive bays considering this is a mid-tower case. They include removable dust filters on all intake fans. It even comes with a tooless design for installing drives in the drive bays and cards in the expansion slots. Bang for the buck, this case rocks! Although it's steel and plastic, not aluminum and the motherboard tray isn't removable.

Video Review #1031: Infrasonic BLOW5D Studio Monitor Speakers

The Blow line are available in a few different models. There is the 4 series which are 55watts and the 5 series which are 90watts. Both have a D line as well. The 4D and 5D differ from the standard models and include a digital interface module as well. The Infrasonic BLOW5D is a shielded, powered near-field studio monitor speaker and features a two-way, bi-amplifier design to achieve high quality sound. Frequency response is broadened downward by a bass reflex system and broadened upward by a natural silk dome tweeter for delicate signal reproduction.

Video Review #849: Lian Li PC-A71 Case

If you are in the market for a full tower case and you need it to have excellent air circulation, dust filters, plenty of room to work, a removable motherboard tray, lots of drive bays, a sleek look, excellent construction and it has to be all aluminum, than I would strongly recommend checking out the Lian Li PC-A71 Case. There are six 120mm fans and two dust filters at the front, five external 5.25" drive bays and ten 3.5" drive bays. There's no other full tower server case that has these features and weights in at only 9.5kg (21lbs).

Video Review #851: Western Digital 750GB Hard Drive (WD7500AAKS)

The Western Digital Caviar SE16 750GB Hard Drive (WD7500AAKS) is one of the largest hard drives currently on the market. Why does anyone need a hard drive this large? Well, if you are asking this question, you probably don't. On the other hand, if you have or are building a Home Theatre PC you most certainly can have definite use of a massive hard drive. Movies, family videos, music, TV shows, games and other data requires a lot of space. This hard drive performs very well, is quiet and affordable. It's a must have for any serious computer user.
