"Nvidia has rolled out a new set of its WHQL-certified drivers, Geforce 285.62 WHQL. Similar to the Geforce 285.38 beta driver, the new 285.62 WHQL-certified one is recommended driver for Battlefield 3 as well as some other game titles. The new driver supports all the GPUs since Geforce 6 series as well as the ION GPU. According to Nvidia, the Battlefield 3 performance is improved by up to 11 percent when compared to the previously released Geforce 285.38 beta drivers.

"Over the weekend Microsoft "retired", that is removed, its Windows Live Gallery, the online repository for, extensions and add-ons for various Windows Live services and products including Windows Vista and Windows 7 Gadgets. Our headline perhaps overstates the situation - Gadgets still exist, you can download them and you can write them. But what has been taken away is the showcase where you could share them and even receive payment for them, i.e. an app store for gadgets.

"A computer virus has infected the cockpits of America’s Predator and Reaper drones, logging pilots’ every keystroke as they remotely fly missions over Afghanistan and other warzones. The virus, first detected nearly two weeks ago by the military’s Host-Based Security System, has not prevented pilots at Creech Air Force Base in Nevada from flying their missions overseas. Nor have there been any confirmed incidents of classified information being lost or sent to an outside source.
