Video Review #814: Ideazon Zboard, MERC, Fang & Reaper

Ideazon has some really cool products. The Zboard keyboard is extremely unique with the hot-swappable keysets, programmable keys, USB hub and much more. The MERC keyboard doesn't have keysets, but combines a standard keyboard with a gamepad all in one. If you have a standard keyboard now you may want to consider just getting the FANG gamepad. The FANG has 41 tactically placed keys, 7 simultaneous keystrokes, Z Engine Technology , and more. There Reaper mouse comes with a 1600 DPI optical sensor and driverless, on the fly sensitivity DPI switching.

Video Review #817: OCZ ProXStream 1000W Power Supply

The OCZ ProXStream 1000W Power Supply has lots of clean, quality power and comes with plenty of sleeved leads. This power supply is very small, considering others in the 750 to 1000+ watt range are usually much longer. As a matter of fact, there's so much crammed into such a small enclosure they couldn't even fit a power switch and had to use a rather loud 80mm fan. The advantage to being small is this power supply will fit in any ATX case. Watch the video to find out more and check out the bloopers at the end.

Video Review #819: Nexus 80 Plus Power Supplies

The Nexus 80 Plus Power Supplies are excellent for a Home Theatre PC setup or in any environment where a quiet power supply is required. Due to wattage limitations, they are really not intended for a hardcore gaming rig though. All of these power supplies are identical on the outside with a steel housing which is painted black. There's one quiet 120mm fan and the fan grill is recessed which ensures it will fit in any ATX case. These power supplies also have lots of leads, most of these leads are modular, but a few are hard wired into the power supply and can't be removed.

Video Review #824: HIS HD 2900XT 512MB Video Card

The HIS HD 2900XT 512MB Video Card performs exceptionally well, supports DirectX10 and is highly overclockable. This Video Card has many technologies, a few include; a massive 512bit memory interface, Custom Filter Anti-Aliasing, Unified Superscalar Shader Architecture, Tessellation and High-Definition Multimedia Interface output support. The core speed on this product is 740MHz and the 512MBs of GDDR3 memory is 1650MHz. Video Review #825: Puget Liquid Cooled Gaming Computer

When purchasing a pre-built computer system you really need to do your research on the company you are buying it from. You do not want to spend 4-6 thousand dollars or more and then have to deal with all kinds of problems. Also, make sure the company has an excellent support department. Puget Custom Computers have been fantastic throughout the entire process, right from the build to the delivery, and that's what customers want.

Video Review #827: Lian Li PC-A12 Case

If you are in the market for a quality mid-tower case and you are on a budget , I would strongly recommend you check out the Lian Li PC-A12 Case. It comes with a stylish look, it's all aluminum, has two 120mm fans, and there's an adequate number of drive bays (4x5.25", 2x3.5" external, and 3x3.5" internal). My only real grip with this product is, it doesn't have a removable motherboard tray. Watch the video to find out more and check out the bloopers at the end.

Video Review #828: SilverStone DS351 External RAID HDD Storage

here are many external hard drive enclosures on the market, but most don't offer RAID 5/10 support like the SilverStone DS351 External RAID HDD Storage Enclosure does. Of course this unit is a lot more expensive that a regular external hard drive enclosure, but it will give you peace of mind knowing your data is safe. If you treasure your pictures, music, movies and other data, you need to ensure it's not going to be lost due to a hard drive failure. The SilverStone DS351 External RAID HDD Storage Enclosure accepts up to 5 hard drives and supports Raid 0, Raid 1, Raid 10, and Raid 5.

Video Review #830: Western Digital Raptor X 150GB Hard Drive

The Western Digital Raptor X 150GB Hard Drive performs very well in a single drive configuration, but even better in a RAID0 configuration. This is really no surprise to me because I've own all the Western Digital Raptor series drives and they were stable, reliable and fast. None of these drives have ever failed. The Western Digital Raptor X 150GB Hard Drive is a perfect drive to have if you are a serious gamer or into hard drive intensive applications like video editing. Video Review #831: NZXT Hush Case

The NZXT Hush Case is a great overall product and it's affordable. When NZXT built this case from the ground up they had a couple of things in mind. The first was to build a quiet case and also a case that provides excellent air circulation. With sound dampening material inside the case on the side panels, bottom, top and front, it's quiet. They include two 120mm fans which provide great air circulation. There are lots of drives bays and it has a stylish appearance. Video Review #832: Antec Sonata III Case

Generally, cases with a power supply are intended for the budget market. I believe Antec had this in mind with the Antec Sonata III Case. This product is mostly steel with a stylish plastic front bezel. There are 3x5.25", 2x3.5" (ext), and 4x3.5" (int) drive bays. Conveniently located at the front are 2 USB2 ports, eSATA port, a microphone jack and headphone jack. There is one included Antec Tricoool 120mm fan at the back and an optional 120mm fan can be installed at the front. Overall, this is a great case and they include an excellent high efficiency 500W power supply.

Video Review #833: Thermaltake Toughpower 1200W Power Supply

There's no surprise that the Thermaltake Toughpower 1200W Power Supply performs very well. With 1200 watts it's clearly not intended for the budget market, but rather the hardcore gamer. Having a multiple video card setup, lots of other hardware, and overclocking requires a power supply of this wattage to keep everything stable. This product also has a quiet 140mm fan, lots of sleeved modular leads, and looks excellent. It is fairly long though, so it might not fit in some mid-tower cases and it's pricey, which is to be expected.

Video Review #834: Psile Media/HTPC Silent PC

If you are in the market for a very tiny media PC that you don't want to do any gaming on, check out the Psile Media Silent PC. With an Intel T5600 CPU, 2GB of memory, WiFi adapter, Dual TV tuner, 500GB hard drive and more, it performs very well. The Psile case is unlike any others because it has a unique compact cube shape, which means 9"x9" and only weights 10lbs. EndPCNoise has done a fantastic job at selecting the correct hardware, so the system performs very well with no stability issues and it looks amazing.
