No, this is no joke he's actually no longer with us!

"We are deeply saddened to announce that Steve Jobs passed away today. Steve’s brilliance, passion and energy were the source of countless innovations that enrich and improve all of our lives. The world is immeasurably better because of Steve. His greatest love was for his wife, Laurene, and his family. Our hearts go out to them and to all who were touched by his extraordinary gifts." ~ Apple’s Board of Directors

Damn, 56 years old. I'm 56... :(

I still remember when he and Steve Wozniak started up Apple with the Apple I. An amazing system at the time when Commodore PETs, Trash 80s and Altairs were the in-thing. It ran an OS geared more to the average user rather than the business OS - CP/M.

I'm sad to see him go, but with his health issues I was kinda expecting it any time now. Still a shame to see a man that made such a big impact on the tech world die so young.

He will be missed. R.I.P. Steve. Your long battle is over.

He leaves behind four kids and a wife, very sad. RIP Steve, you'll go down in history as one of the most successful entrepreneurs in history.

This was just a huge shocker. I thought he shouldn't be retiring so soon and now he.dies. Didn't he give a speech at Stanford like a while ago?
