"Apparently, the browser boasts “vastly” improved memory usage and increased speed. In fact, the memory usage is said to be up to 50 percent better, although it’s “only” 20-30 percent better most of the time.  Considering Firefox’ reputation of a memory hog, this will surely come in handy.

The list of improvements also lists a new rendering backend to speed up Canvas operations on Windows, almost instant syncing of bookmark and password changes in Firefox sync, support for text-overflow, support for Web Timing specification and some stability improvements.
