Video Review #853: Ultra X3 1600W Modular Power Supply

There's no question that the Ultra X3 1600W Modular Power Supply has a lot of power. Considering your typical computer build only requires 500W or less, is there any need for 1600 watts? Well, if you have the very latest hardware installed, there might be. If you have an ATI 2900XT Crossfire setup and lots of other hardware installed it can easily eat up to 700-900 watts of power. That's still leaves a lot of power for other uses or for future hardware that will consume even power power.

Video Review #854: Zalman Z-Machine GT1000 Case

If you're in the market for a very well constructed, thick aluminum mid-tower case, than the Zalman Z-Machine GT1000 Case is for you. With four external 5.25" drive bays, one external 3.5" drive bay and 6 internal drive bays, there lots of places to install drives. Although the front HDD cage which houses up to four HDDs does hinder air circulation. Speaking of air circulation, there are two 92mm fans at the front of the case and one 120mm fan at the back of the case. Since it is a mid-tower case there isn't a lot of room to work, but the motherboard tray is removable.

Video Review #857: Swiftech H20-120 Compact Water Cooling

The Swiftech H20-120 Compact Water Cooling combines the waterblock and pump together and the radiator and reservoir together. This simplifies the traditional four-component loop into just two-components. This reduces the space required for installation and it tremendously simplifies the installation process over most water cooling kits. The combination of high quality components sets this kit apart from others in the same category. While this kit will not outperform some of the four-component water cooling systems, it will outperform air coolers by a long shot.

The Antec TruePower Quattro 850W & 1000W PSUs have stylish racing stripes which run all the way around the steel housing and include an 80mm fan. Along with this fan and the many ventilation holes, this PSU will remain cool in almost any environment. Both of these PSUs have lots of power for today's gaming systems.
