The demo is only DX9 because it's a console port. The real PC game will be much more demanding ;)

i played the demo on steam
wasn't fully impressed with the graphics, played easy on my 4890 card with hardcore settings..BF3 seems more impressive to me

I have a gaming PC and all gaming consoles and it definately doens't get you laid!

Yeah, I had issues on mycrysis.com too. I apparently already made an account with my email but I don't remember doing so. The "Forgot your Password/Username?" link didn't work. Had to make an account with an older email...

By the way, THIS GAME IS AWESOME. I'm definitely NOT cancelling my pre-order. Can't wait for the full game.

Although, maybe I'll cancel it from Newegg anyway and get it from a better place. I heard Newegg doesn't do well with pre-orders....

There are some issues with it. The worst part is is that's it's just an Xbox port. But still, it's pretty fun. I've already unlocked everything in the demo.
