"However, initial test scores that slipped to a hands of industry source are suggesting that Bulldozer should come really close to new Core i7 six-core CPUs. Bulldozer has both six and eight cores in the pipeline and they should be launching before the end of Q2 2011, at least that is the current schedule... The performance of Bulldozer should come really close to Core i7, but we don't know if this might be enough to take Intel's high end market dominance. Samples of Bulldozer are out for a while now and the full production should start as soon as this quarter..." | more

I would hardly call this news. Besides, these Intel processors that AMD "comes close" to in performance have been out for a while now while AMD's are supposed to come out before the summer. Intel has had them since March 2010. Congratulations AMD. You "might" come close to beating a year old processor.

AMD will sell these due to the price/performance ratio though.

Why are people bringing up the topic about nVidia/SLi in an article about AMD Bulldozer? Geez... *sigh*

Pardon for me for whining, though. I wish the mods delete the posts not related to AMD Bulldozer and help stay on topic, but then I'm not a member of Fudzilla.
