"The card uses 4-phase VRM and comes with eight memory chips placed on the front of the PCB. According to the info so far, the new Barts GPU is pin compatible with Cypress so some AIB's might even go for that option, and we might see cards that look a lot like the HD 5870, PCB wise. The GPU itself is placed diagonally, something that we've seen on Cypress, and this time AMD made sure that its logo is is the one on the GPU. The card needs two 6-pin PCI-Express power connectors and features two DVI, one HDMI and two mini DisplayPort outputs. If all goes well and according to recent plans, the Barts equipped cards should be officially launched next week." | more

I do not believe it to be that expensive as the card will propably be mainstream. The high-end ones will most likely be designated HD6950, HD6970 & HD6990, if you believe rumours to be true.

Anyone else ready to buy a new video card for Christmas?

I sleep fine at night knowing we are banning people who deserve it.  Tivon
