I would think gpu is more beneficial since the gpu tackles mos of the task in high end gaming. Just have solid ram and a decent processor. ;)

I agree with those charts at Tomshardware. Because I already have Quads, getting a video card will probably help my system the most.

i got an i7 950 and i will get an HD 6000 as soon as it gets out
