Now you can have all the fun of your PC on your Windows Phone 7! That's right you can install drivers that don't work, slow it down scanning for viruses and call Microsoft support center when you feel like upgrading.

"The site said that WP7 phones will start shipping later in October. Officials at Microsoft could not be reached for comment on the report. On Sept. 1, Microsoft announced via a blog post that the reformulated OS was finalized and had been released to manufacturers. Microsoft officials have at various times listed five makers of Windows Phone 7 devices -- Asus, HTC, LG, Samsung and Dell." | more

LOL! I'd rather have Windows Mobile 6.5 if I could live without Silverlight, XNA Framework, and built-in Zune player with FM Radio. I can easily live without Windows Phone Marketplace but Silverlight and XNA? I'm a C# developer and I'd love to take advantage of it, but I just can't have Windows Mobile 6.5 and Windows Phone 7 combined. Besides, Windows Phone 7 is too much of a departure from Windows Mobile 6.5.

So, the easy way out of being so stuck with choosing Windows Phone 7, Windows Mobile 6.5, and Android (I don't care for iPhone, Blackberry, or Symbian) is to go with a Windows 7 multi-touch tablet with a SIM slot in it, which I can easily fit in a netbook-sized backpack as I don't don't not being able to fit a tablet in my front pocket. :)
