After 13 years of tantalizing production news and then declared dead.. I'll belive it when I see it. "What are you waiting for? Christmas?"-duke

"At PAX Prime 2010, Gearbox (Brothers in Arms, Borderlands) president Randy Pitchford confirmed rumors that his studio has assumed responsibility for the practically mothballed shooter. What's more, he announced it'll be playable--that's right, playable--on the show floor. People seem to be enjoying the game a lot," reads a dispatch from 2K Games' Twitter feed. "How many [PAX] folks thought they'd leave Seattle having played [Duke Nukem Forever]?" The game, due in 2011, will be available simultaneously for Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, and Microsoft Windows." | more

and the consol has a better controller than the PC too. I wonder if PC based folks and consol based folks will be able to "duke it out". Any word on that?

February 1st is the new date. And a simultaneous release is still the word on the street. I too am looking forward to this game but will probably pay the extra $10 and get it for one of my consols so I don't have to pay an arm and a leg to upgrade my PC, again.

I'll believe it when it hits the shelves.
