Out of nowhere, EA has announced that the limited edition of Medal of Honor will include access to the beta test for Battlefield 3 from DICE. Purchases of the LE will "receive an invitation to the Battlefield 3 beta within 12-months following the release of Medal of Honor."

DICE's Battlefield: Bad Company 2

This means that we should be seeing the beta for Battlefield 3 before October 12, 2011. Nothing else is known about Battlefield 3, but it was confirmed to be in development in June 2009. Sounds like a fall 2011 release may be in the cards.

We presume this means we'll see Battlefield 3 for the PC, PlayStation 3, and Xbox 360 as the beta details mention Xbox Live Gold being a requirement for Xbox 360 users. The game will use the Frostbite 2 engine, which powers Battlefield: Bad Company 2 and the multiplayer portion of Medal of Honor, both of which are PC, PS3, and Xbox 360 titles.

MOH is a shit game but for the BF3 beta I guess I might just have to buy this. But i really dont wana buy into a beta. I hope its a true BF successor, with full 32v32 battles (and the bf2 squad system), tanks, fighters, bombers, huge maps and all the goodness that is BF!
