windows product key questions

i've been wondering about the windows product keys if you reinstall windows on a newer handrive and new mobo does this mean i have to buy another key?

Asus P8P67 Deluxe : i7 2600k : Corsair Vengeance 8 GB 1600
Asus GTX 560 Direct Cu II OC : Corsair H100
Kingston Hyper X 3K 120 GB : WD Caviar Black 1 TB : Windows 7 Home Premium
OCZ ZT 750W PSU : CM 690 II

Retail keys can be transferred, OEM keys cannot, however you can call Microsoft and they will usually allow you to reactivate it on another system.

In most cases, if you can claim it as an upgrade to the original system, they will reactivate it. If you are transferring to a whole brand new machine, they will not.

ADDED: Oops, video that probably covered that. Why didn't that show up the first time I viewed the page?
