Ok, so i dont know if im in the right section but id be glad if i would get an answer. so here goes :)

ok so almost everytime i try transfer a file from pc to pendrive i get very slow transfer rate (2kb/s), not every file i transfer have the same transfer rate, for example i tested to see if every file i transfer gets the same transfer rate, i copied a folder from pendrive to pc and viceversa i got 15mb/s speed but when i copied another file from pc to pendrive it went very slow speed <100kb/s. i dont think its the usb port since i tried all 4 of them and happened the same.

The usb chipset name is intel(r) 5 Series/3400 series chipset family usb enhanced host controller.

if you would help me get this fixed ill be glad

thanks in advance

The difference between different kinds of files is normal. But 2kb/s is really odd.

How about other USB drives, are they also very slow? If not, try this application on the pendrive, it's a format tool especially for flash media:

http://www.sdcard.org/consumers/formatter_3/

I've used it on SDcards and also MP3players, it speeds it up a little more than standard formatting since it's designed for flash memory.
