Vista Black screen *not the normal blackscreen*

Ok I just recently got a ATI 5770. So I removed my side panle and replaced my 8600GT with the ATI 5770. Now when i start up Vista it goes to the log in screen, I log in, loads files, then BAM. blackscreen NO curser. Alt+CTRL+DEL dosen't work, safe mode won't work, Start from last working point dosen't work. Could it have to do something with the ATI and Nvida drivers?

Also i tried no cards at all with the monitor plugged directly to the MB in safemode. This also fail to paint a picture >:(

Any help would be amazing, im missing BFBC2 :(

There was a key you have to hold during the login process to disable the Nvidia control panel, which is probably causing this. I believe it's CTRL. If that doesn't work, just boot into safe mode, uninstall the geforce driver and install catalyst.

Try putting the 8600GT back in, use driver sweeper then put in the 5770

ive tried but according to microsoft the OS is dead and needs a full reinstall
