Question about video editing software that supports ATI graphic card

Does anybody know of any video editing software that supports ATI graphic cards that will take advantage of the GPU? The graphics card I have is a Radeon HD 5830. The software I am looking for is something that will covert AVI and other video files to DVD. Please help if you can. Thanks!

doesn't ati have it in there drivers itself to convert files. its in the ccc
