Blu-Ray software... NOTHING WORKS!

plz help before i hurt someone...


im trying to watch a blu-ray movie on my vaio PC but so far ive tried 3 trial verisons of blu-ray players. 2 of them didnt work and just hung and the last one took some tinkering and i got the audio to work but the video was having a seizure and was unwatchable.


what i tried so far Power DVD, Corel WinDVD, and TMT3


i called sony and asked for the original player that came with my laptop back but they wanted to charge me 40$


plz somebody, i dont know what to do.

If a player was supplied with your laptop, you can get it from the recovery disk/partition (hopefully without having to reinstall Windows). Also check the driver page on the sony website. My old HP has WinDVD4 as a download on the driver page.

If no full-version player was shipped with the laptop you will be forced to buy one. To my belief there is no free BluRay codec on the internet that's legal.
