2nd monitor trouble.

I recently added a 2nd monitor which I'm using as my new primary. It's plugged into the DVI slot.

my original monitor is in the HDMI slot.

Now I know that DVI doesn't carry sound but I'm using my Wireless headset and still not able to get any sound. I try to open up "manage Audio devices" and nothing happens.

Does anyone have experience with this?

Sounds like the video card's audio may be selected as the default. Are you connected to a headphone jack on the HDMI-connected monitor, or to the motherboard/sound card?

Go to the Control Panel -> Hardware and Sound -> Sound. Under the "Playback" tab, click on the connected device and then Set Default. Click OK.
