I currently have:
Intel Core 2 Quad Q8300 @2.5GHz
ASUS MoBo P5G41C-M (1333MHz FSB)
4GB DDR2 800MHz RAM
Aftermarket Cooling.

This is my first overclock and I have got it to 2.99GHz.
BUT I want more out of it .
My CPU Frequency is at 399.
I have tried everything to try and overclock this a bit more, increasing FSB, increasing voltages etc, but nothing seems to work, when I put the CPU FSB up to 400MHz , the computer refuses to boot, so I went in and changed the voltages up a bit, still no boot.

Can anyone help me overclock this a bit more, so I can get the most out of it, thanks.

P.S. I have also stress tested with OCCT, and I am getting IDLE core temps of 36-42C and LOAD temps of 48-52C

Here is my BIOS settings:
AI Overclock = Manual
CPU Frequency = 399
DRAM Freqenct = AUTO
PCI Express frequency = AUTO
Memory Voltage = AUTO
NB Voltage = AUTO
VTT Voltage = AUTO
CPU Over voltage = AUTO ( I had it at + 0.0300v and it ran fine )
SB 1.5v Voltage = 1.5v
Auto PSI = Enabled
Ratio CMOS Setting = 07.5 (This is the multiplier)
C1E = Disabled
Max CPUID Val lim = Disabled
Intel Virtualization Tech = Enabled
CPU TM Function = Enabled
Execute-Disable bit capability = Enabled.
