I need some suggestions on cooling on my CPU the stock cooler works but in a 84 degree room (bad placement of the A/C in the house)  i dont like the temps it gets. I am running an AMD Athlon(tm) II X4 620 Processer on a  GIGABYTE GA-MA785GM-US2H AM3/AM2+/AM2 AMD 785G HDMI Micro ATX AMD Motherboard . I am wanting to go for Water Cooling. If any of you have any suggestions on for what type of cooling I should get I would be grateful. I don't like seeing high temps.

Consider the Cooler Master V10.

The Cooler Master V10 looks pretty big. If I do get it I'm going to have one hell of a fight to get everything in. But thanks for the suggestion Dreamer-Boy, maybe I will get it.

What is your budget?  You don't need the V 10 for your cpu.

you can get a Corsair H50 all-in-one water cooling system for just $70 USD

performs better than the V8 and i think the V10

The V8 & V10 are overrated, the H50 with a push pull config with matching fans will do just fine.  You can get a Venomous X with 2 matching fans, for under $100 US, you'll just need an extra fan clip.  You will also need the special  AMD back plate for both coolers.

My V8 is overkill and it didn't cost me a dime, thanks Cooler Master! wink

The thing about water cooling though is that it also requires the need of air cooling fans. So room air temperature is still a factor that matters. You can't cool below room temperature without some type of compression.

H50 vs V10 is like comparing cheap water cooling with a highend air cooler. I'd get the H50 because of the cheaper cost and you can install 2 fans to improve performance, but you have to remember there is water inside your case..

I sleep fine at night knowing we are banning people who deserve it.  Tivon
