Hi all, I want to overclock my 965BE to something near 4.0 or 4.2Ghz. I (obviusly) need a cooler for that, the problem is that here in Argentina we don't have too much variety. Here are my options:
Thermalright Venomous X
Zalman 9900
Antec KüHLER Box
Thermaltake Frio
Corsair H50
My case is a Saikano O2 Limited Editon, it's a mix between the O2 Mod and the normal O2:

(1 x 120mm Saikano fan on front side and another on the rear side, I can add 2 more on the top)
I'm not a fan of the Zalman coolers for overclocking. They are very nice in the passive or low noise cooling, but they don't get the airflow the box type coolers do thanks to the open sides.
I've used several Thermaltake tower type coolers, with great success in cooling hot chips, but performance between it and the Thermalright and Antec should be comparable... one is probably "better" but it will be a close race across the board.
Watercooling is probably the safest route, but I would recommend the H70. Larger radiator plus larger coolant load makes it easier to compensate for heat spikes from inconsistent processor load.
so... H70 can be a good choice, but it's not available here. Thanks anyways.
Do you have any large capacity contained watercooling systems available there from another brand? You can visibly see the H70 in reviews on the net and can get an idea as to why it is preferred for heavy overclocking. I'm trying to save you from a burnt chip.
Unfortunately there aren't any other brands, or even models available here.
Then if the shop can't special order the H70 for you, the H50 is probably the best bet.
Finally, H70 arrived, it's $240 here, I will buy it anyways.
Hey, good news! Sorry it is so expensive!
