Switching to tek savvy from rogers what modem and router should i buy??

Hello. Im currently switching my isp. Rogers to Teksavvy. I currently have the SMC wireless g gateway router/modem combo and I know it wont work with the new isp. So I am in the market for a new modem and a new router. I have no idea what to get (or what is compatible), Help appreciated!

Also we are going to have 4 computers connected through Ethernet so hopefully a shortage of ports wont be a issue.

They do have a list of approved modems on their site

You can always rent the modem from your ISP, you can use any router you please.

Depends on what service you get, cable or DSL. They have routers listed. I used my older Motorola SB5100, but I have their cable internet service.

Although somewhat late, I'd recommend that you get a docsis 3.0 modem for optimum speed and performance. I used to have the older one (I think SB5100) but the SB6120 (both are from motorola) performs much better.
