i got an old linksys router....(i think thats how you spell it)
but i just got 2 rokus(using HULU) and im curious on the
data usage for it. so, what im asking is there a way
i can check the wifi usage of any device connect to my internet/router?
--thanks in advance--
Most ISPs will allow you to view bandwidth usage for any given month on their websites.
ya your correct about that....but i was more meaning on the MBPS that all the devices use.
Monitoring is best done via the router but you have an old one. Perhaps the bios of the linksys rom could be flashed over to dd-wrt that provides more options for net usage stats and netstat utility's.
ya....ive update my router yesterday to a netgear WNDR3400v3 now.....and i believe it has a feature that shows the usage....but i cant seem to find it...anyone know how i can check?
The Login is admin and the password might be admin or password or 1234, or something else in your documentations.
Once logged in, Look at the Left hand side, Advanced > Traffic Meter > Enable Traffic Meter, and those options you might need to search google on because I never use them. Good Luck!
wow thanks, that exactly what i needed ^^(0.0 so many things to explore about this router)
