Dont get me started on netgear wireless adapters...just please help me pick the best wireless N adapter.
I was stupid and didnt return my WN311-B adapter when I learned its windows 7 advertising was extremely stretched thin and when used its restricted to no more than 2mb/s in my pcs when 270mb/s is advertised (N but you cant get it to work in N with windows 7 since you use a default BS driver)
wow, got myself started there didnt I...
What type of interface are you looking at getting? I would suggest either an internal PCIe card or an external Ethernet adapter. Either would be faster than USB. Have a look at Intel for the PCIe cards and Trendnet for the external adapter.
well the netgear 311-b is internal and a POS, need to make sure whatever I get lists windows 7 64bit support in plain letters...I read a lot about usb having more issues with dropped connections than internal cards.
I dont care what type it is as long as its reliable.
