Hey everyone,

I'm in the process of modding my NZXT Apollo airflow and i need help and suggestion because i'm not sure i'm doing it right.

This is my stock setup right now.

I was thinking of moving the hard drive in a Icage and replacing the front door plastic with a mesh grill. Adding a Antec super blower exhaust to help evacuating the hot air from de HR-03 cooler as well.

Since i read that to maintain a POSITIVE airflow i need to have more EXHAUSTS then INTAKES. So i was thinking of installing a 140 mm fans on the top.

Feel free to comments i need help with good advice.

you got it backwards. Positive requires more Intake than Exhaust. 140mm Exhaust isn't really necessary 120mm will be fine.

what you should do is get a hole saw and cut through that plastic grill on the outside of the Apollo window than drill another hole above it so you can use 2 Fans. putting another fan in push pull on your Xigmatek would help.

I think top fan is an amazing idea, hot air DOES rise, so you will be expelling the hot air and keeping the cool inside :P

if you put another fan in push pull on your xigmatek you will have a exhaust wind tunnel, put a low speed exhaust up top (might not be necessary) you won't need the Antec Cyclone instead get a pack of these cases with no ventilated expansion slots annoy me.

I was browsing MM today and saw there new towers, this one can hold 20 fans! need 2 Fan Controllers imagine using Deltas. "shes breaking loose captain!"

So dude, how is it coming along? Also if you want ventilated slot covers just drill or puncture holes in your current ones (or remove them alltogether)

This look interesting... I've got an Apollo myself but I haven't done much to it other than dremel out of cable-management holes and paint the interior black.

I think that adding an exhaust fan in the top would be a good addition.

Heat rises naturally, and with the combination of the PSU fan and the new exhaust out of the top, it may help.

Good luck
