Just finished paint mod on my HAF932 Blue led version. I stuck with simple and uniform inside and out. I Just made the inside look like the outside. Can't wait to get the rig finished. This is how the case should have come from CM:

I'll post more pics as I build it. Let me know what you think!
Very nice paint job, definitely looks very professional.
Is that a 120mm or 140mm Fan you have there?
Actually its three 230mm fans (top, front, side) and one 140mm rear fan. They came with individual on/off switches for led per fan but I have wired all the led lights to a single switch. It took 3 days to paint it. I sprayed three layers of flat, heat lamp dry and sanding between coats and finish it with two layers of satin, heat and a sand before final coat. Not my first time in a paint booth but first case I ever painted, lol.
i want to put in a 250mm fan on the nzxt zero 2 case but i don't want to do much cutting on the case. what do i do to make it look professional with out breaking the bank?
very nice paintmod but i think since u have the blue led setup maybe throw in some blue paint on the inside for some conrast?:O just a thought tho if not your choice and either way case looks great well done!
I thought about that, but when i wired up the leds and turned them on planes started landing on my street. Its real bright, so i thought less blue would be a better choice. What im leaning towards now is some old school pin stripping with inspiration from TRON, lol, i know but the sketch ive done has me thinking about it. I'll post some pics when im through with it.
alrighty sounds goood!
This is a well painted rig. This is smooth and blue. Nice!
The next case i plan on doing is getting powder coated. Then after that, i plan on prepping and painting the side panels to contrast the inside and back of case.
nice paint job
Thanks for the comments guys, I've powder coated before and it can get costly. BUT, you can buy the stuff to do it yourself if you have a large enough oven to bake your parts in. My wife wont let me use our new oven to anything like that, lol.
Excellent work.
