i was wondering what exactly is the difference between AMD's Phenom's and AMD's Phenom Black Edition's?

"Black Edition" AMD CPUs have an unlocked multiplier, much like Intel's "Extreme Edition". This will allow for easier overclocking within the BIOS as opposed to a standard CPU without an unlocked multiplier.
